Hello my darling Wend. Well it has arrived. The day I have been dreading for months. The 5th anniversary of us being parted. Where have the years gone my darling. I can remember that last evening together in the hospital so clearly, as if it were yesterday. I remember holding you in my arms as the children held your hands. I remember whispering in your ear how much I loved you and I always would. As I whispered to you, I heard your soft gentle breathing stop. Your brave fight was over. You held on for as long as you could my love, but in the end it was too much for you. Our lives changed forever at that moment and have never been the same since.
