Today I returned from a long weekend in Bruges with Barry and Lindsay sweetheart. It brought back so many memories of the two visits that you and I made to that beautiful city. You absolutely loved it there darling and apart from covering the whole city on foot, you and I did all the touristy things together. The horse drawn carriage ride through the cobbled streets, the boat ride along the canals and climbing to the top of the bell tower in the main square. We also stood on the bridge by The Lake of Love as the legend told us that by doing so, our love would last forever. You loved the pavement cafes and bars and especially the chocolate shops. AS I walked those streets again this weekend darling, I shed a few tears as I remembered when we too walked those streets hand in hand and arm in arm. It brought back so many bitter/sweet memories. As I sat at the pavement cafes and watched the world go by, I was so jealous of the couples passing by hand in hand. That is something I will never be able to do again. I am so grateful that you and I were able to travel to so many places together. I miss you so much darling and long for the day that I can be with you again.
