Happy Easter my darling Wend. This is the third Easter we have been without you sweetheart and you are missed as much today as ever. On Easter Sunday, you always used to hide Kinder Eggs around the house for us all to find. Sarah hid an egg for me to find this year bless her, but it was not the same as when you were here with us darling. Yesterday I drove down to Sheppey to spend time with Barry and Lindsay. I remember when we used to drive down there together. When we reached the high point on the island where the sea becomes visible for the first time, you would say 'I see the sea and the sea sees me'. Now, even though I am alone, when I reach that point darling, I say it for you once again.As I drove past that spot yesterday, I couldn't hold back the tears my love.
