Fathers Day 2009 and it is another of those awful 'firsts' darling. The first Fathers' Day I will have spent without you in 10 years. I know I am not Matt and Sarahs' 'real' Dad but I look on them both as my children and hope it is me they would turn to in times of need or trouble. We always used to try and go out as a family on this day each year. Last year Sarah took us for lunch to the Inn on the Pond at Nutfield and then surprised us both by giving us tickets to see 'Jersey Boys' in the West End. The year before, you both took me to a Harley Davidson meet at Petworth House in Sussex and the year before that we all went to Brighton to see the Sand Sculpture exhibition and then to Mama Cherrys Soul food restaurant for lunch. All memorable Fathers' Day outings my love, but no more. This day will never be the same again without you to share it with. I so miss you my beautiful girl and love you with all my heart. XXX
