Today is Christmas Eve darling and I am finding it so hard to get enthusiastic over Christmas. This will be our second Christmas without you darling, and if anything I am finding it harder than the first. We decorated the house and tree as we always did darling. You always loved your 'grotty grotto' as you called it and I think we have done you proud this year by decorating it as you would have done. Although the lights are glowing and the decorations are up, there is no real feeling of Christmas spirit without you here with us. You made Christmas for us all darling with all the little thoughtful things you did. This year we will be spending Christmas with Matt and Fiona as it will be their first one in their new home. Please stay close to us all sweetheart and give us your strength to get through the holiday period without too many tears. There is always going to be an empty chair at the table darling and it can never be the same again. But we will try and enjoy Christmas if only for the boys, because that is what you would want.
