My Darling Wend, It is so hard to know what to say today or where to start. You and I met on 23rd October 1999. The 21st October 2006, was the happiest day of our lives when we married and became husband and wife. Today is the saddest day of my life. I have to say goodbye to you, my darling wife, my beautiful girl, my life, my love, my soulmate. Lots of people meet and fall in love, but not many people get to meet their true soulmate in life. I was so lucky that I found you and am so proud and honoured to have been your husband. You were the kindest, gentlest, most loving, generous and caring person I have ever known. You had an incredible love of life and sense of fun. Your energy and vitality were boundless. You were the most wonderful wife to me, a loving mother to Matt and Sarah, and the best Nana Ethan and Joshua could ever have wished for. I do not have the words to express the loss and emptiness I feel today. My life will never be the same again. It is so comforting to see so many of your friends and family here to say goodbye. I have never known anyone else who was loved by so many people. If you were friends with someone, they had a friend for life. You seemed to have a way of getting into peoples hearts. You treasured friendship and would never let a friend down. You never had a bad word to say about anyone and could only ever see the good in people. You would hate all this, being the centre of attention. You always wanted to blend into the background and never liked a fuss. Even during your illness, you did not want people to know how ill you were . As you said, I just want to be treated as meā€¦not get the sympathy vote. You were always more concerned about other peoples misfortunes than your own problems. Well my darling, you are the centre of attention today because you were and always will be, loved by so many people. You have touched so many lives with your example to us all of kindness, courage, friendship and most of all, LOVE. So sleep tight my darling. May God enfold you in his loving arms and keep you safe until the day I can come and be with you again and remain with you for all eternity. I LOVE YOU.
