Today is Halloween darling. You were always a great one for tradition sweetheart, and every year we had to go out and buy the perfect pumpkin for carving into a creepy Halloween face. We would all take part in cleaning and carving it, but you always had the honour of lighting it before we put it outside the front door in expectation of little 'trick or treaters' knocking on the door. You would always be prepared for their arrival with bags of sweeties for them, and you would always be so disappointed those years when we didn't get any callers and would have to eat the sweets ourselves ! You would have loved this year darling. We had our best year ever. A large group of 7 or 8 year old children accompanied by their parents. All the children in fancy dress and really excited to see our pumpkin lit on the wall outside. I can see you now darling, with a great big smile giving out goodies to all the children.
